When you choose this training mode the program will consider any position for recall, not just for the selected
opening!
The program calculates for each learned position when is the right moment to recall the position. It won't show
you the position before this date. The more often you have passed such a recall the longer it will take before you
will be asked to recall it.
It is very important that you recall positions timely. Whenever you load a repertoire database the program will
automatically check for positions which are due and inform you in this case. You can also check the statistic
module and there the scheduler who shows you the scheduled recalls for the next days.
You can reset all training dates by using the corresponding "Reset Scores" command.
5.2.1.2 Oldest First
The recall mode 'Oldest First' let you recall already learned positions. Unlike the 'Scheduled' mode the program
will present you positions even if they are not scheduled for today. Instead the positions with the oldest training
date will be recalled first. Furthermore the “Oldest First” mode will only present positions of the selected opening.
This approach is not as efficient as the 'Scheduled' mode, but sometimes you might want to just recall certain
openings thoroughly in order to prepare for your next over the board opponent.
In CPT 3.3 the training methodology was based on this approach.
5.2.2 New Position Modes
Unlike the recall modes you will only be presented positions which you have never trained before. Thus, once
you have trained a position by one of the following modes they will be presented again only through one of the
recall modes later.
All training modes to learn new positions are applied to the selected opening only. You have to select each
opening and train it individual.
