To add these visual “markers” to the chessboard, start by
clicking the move for which you'd like to add a marker to the
chessboard, then click the radio button beside “Add Marker”.
Pulldown menus let you select the type of marker and its
color:
Although the uses of the various colors aren't “etched in
stone” in the manner of chess diacritics and symbols, at
Chess King we generally use the four colors for very specific
purposes:
RED
Attacks and threats,
threatened pieces
GREEN
Defenses
YELLOW
Moves and control of squares
BLUE
Miscellaneous uses not covered
by the other colors
