ENTERING YOUR GAMES
MANUALLY AND ADDING ANALYSIS
Chess King provides you with the tools you need to enter
and save your own games. Creating a database of your own
games is good practice for many reasons. You can replay
your games using Chess King as your electronic chessboard.
You can add commentary and analysis to your own games,
which is excellent for learning to think critically about your
games. You can even have Houdini analyze your games, a
great way to quickly learn where both you and your opponent
played well or erred.
The first step in entering a game manually is to make sure
you're the user who's profile is presently loaded in Chess
King (if multiple players are using Chess King on the same
machine). Check the box in the lower right-hand corner of
the screen, and change the profile to your own if your name
doesn't appear there (by clicking the yellow “Menu” button
then selecting “Change User” as we've seen previously.
