Finally we have the “Fixed depth” tab which allows you to limit
the depth (in half-moves, or “plies”, which we'll learn about
later) to which the computer will search:
• Since Houdini 4 Pro will often search to a depth in the high teens
almost instantly (dependent on your computer hardware), some players
find it beneficial to limit Houdini's search depth in this manner.
• Before moving on, we should note that Chess King keeps track of clock
settings for different users, and will remember your own individual
settings from session to session.
