PART 2 • Getting help from chess king
The “Show piece” hint is similar to “Show best move”, but
instead of displaying the whole move, Show Piece shows only
the piece which ought to be moved, leaving it up to you to
figure out which square the suggested piece should move to.
Kara clicks on Show Piece; since this is just a Level 5 quest,
Chess King doesn't charge her any gold for the hint:
• Houdini 4 thinks about the position for a moment, then Chess King
draws a yellow box around the White Queen. If Kara decides to take
Chess King's advice and move the Queen, she needs to figure out the
best square for it. She's thinking here that b8 would be a pretty good
bet, since the Queen attacks the a8-Bishop (which is preventing the
White a-pawn's promotion) from that square.
