PROFILE PANEL
The lower right corner of the screen displays your personal
Chess King information in the Profile Panel:

The top part of the panel displays your user name and your chess
rating (which is based on the rated games you've played in Chess
King).
2
A status bar in the middle of the profile panel shows your current level
and how many experience points you need to earn in order to “level
up”. The dark green bar is a graphic representation of your progress in
getting to the next level.
3
The lower section shows the awards you've earned by solving chess
puzzles and completing chess “Quests”. An important part of this
display is the number at the far right: the number of coins you've
acquired. Coins can be spent to buy hints in the games and quests
you play in Chess King. In the display above, we can see that Kara has
earned 435 coins; she can spend these to get hints in her games. You'll
learn more about coins and hints in the sections on training and playing
games in Chess King.
Now that you're familiar with the Chess King's layout,
let's learn about algebraic notation, the “language” of chess.
