INSTALLING CHESS KING ON PC
Chess King is straightforward to install. If you have the download version, you have received all instructions which are easy to follow. If you have the DVD version, insert the program disk into your computer’ s disk drive and wait for the Autoplay pop-up to appear:
Double-click on this icon to launch Chess King.
Click on“ Run ChessKing _ Setup. exe” to launch the Installation Wizard which will guide you through the installation process. Just follow the prompts to install the program.
• If you have Autoplay disabled on your computer( or if the Autoplay dialogue doesn ' t come up), you can double-click on“ My Computer” or“ Windows Explorer” on your computer ' s desktop, then navigate to your computer ' s disk drive, and double-click on the file“ ChessKing _ Setup. exe” to launch the Installation Wizard.
• When you install Chess King, make sure you have your serial number handy, that internet is on and no anti-virus program or firewall will hinder the activation of the software. You will only need to do this once and you won’ t need the DVD for future uses of the program. Make sure to always“ run Chess King as admin” so that the engine Houdini may be properly called upon for play and analysis.
• You ' ll find a new icon for Chess King on your Windows desktop; when you roll your mouse cursor over it, you ' ll see a pop-up showing the program ' s location on your hard drive.
