Born with shoulder dystocia , Fawehinmi qualified to compete in his first Paralympic Games in London in 2012 where he finished fifth in triple jump and 10th in long jump in London . He was a three-time Paralympian , also competing in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 and Tokyo in 2021 . He was the world record-holder in the Paralympic F47 triple jump , a world champion gold medalist in the triple jump and a Pan Am Games gold medalist in the long jump .
REES ODHIAMBO Rees Odhiambo was born on Sept . 23 , 1992 , in Nairobi , Kenya . He moved to Texas at the age of seven , and his football journey began at Legacy High School in Mansfield where he was invited to join the football team . Odhiambo excelled in football and track and received a scholarship to play football at Boise State University .
Following his four seasons at Boise State and a Fiesta Bowl championship , in 2016 , Odhiambo was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the third round as the 97th overall pick . Odhiambo suffered a series of injuries and eventually embarked on a journey with several NFL teams landing with the Indianapolis Colts , the Atlanta Falcons and finishing his career with the Arizona Cardinals .
Throughout his career , Odhiambo displayed unwavering determination and resilience , overcoming challenges while pursuing his passion for football , which is owed to his parents , family and community that raised and mentored him .
