From accomplished professionals shaping industries to local leaders fostering positive change , Mansfield ISD ’ s graduates have traveled diverse paths , leaving their mark on the world . The alumni of MISD stand as a testament to the commitment the district makes that each student graduates college , career , and life ready .

STEFANIE SMITH
During her time at Mansfield High School , Stefanie Smith participated in yearbook and UIL writing .
“ Mrs . Watson encouraged me to write and compete in UIL ,” she said about her teacher Deborah Watson . “ She gave me the confidence to explore writing and helped me cultivate my passion for it .”
Stefanie graduated from MHS in 2011 . She attended Oklahoma State University for two years before transferring to the University of Texas at Arlington after the tragic loss of both of her grandparents . Through tragedy and medical issues , Stefanie pushed herself to graduate college . She was the first person in her family to obtain a college degree .
“ MISD instilled pride and determination in me ,” she said . “ My teachers shaped me into someone who wanted to achieve great things . I wanted to reach new heights and knew that if I worked hard enough , I could .”
Currently , she is an internal communication specialist
Landry Cass graduated from Lake Ridge High School in 2020 during the height of COVID .
“ Life after graduation was crazy , as COVID had just entered our lives and no one really knew what to do ,” Landry said . “ The teachers and people I met at Mansfield ISD truly helped me to know that nothing is impossible . This mindset helped through the COVID pandemic and my freshman year of college .”
She will never forget her winter guard director Megan York .
“ She never gave up on me and guided me through every step of my high school journey .”
Landry said .
During her sophomore year , Landry was a part of the LRHS varsity winter guard when the team won first place at the North Texas Colorguard Association . She says it is one of the best things to ever happen to her to this day .
After graduation , Landry attended the University of Arkansas for three years , graduating with a bachelor ' s degree in criminology and sociology .
She will start graduate school at the University of Georgia in the fall , pursuing a master ' s degree in international policy . Her goal is to work for the CIA in counterterrorism .
