COMMON GROUND NAMED MISD AMBASSADOR OF EDUCATION
Each year, at the Employee Awards Banquet held in May,
Mansfield ISD recognizes one individual or organization that exemplifies the title of Ambassador of Education. This honor is awarded to someone who goes above and beyond to support and participate in Mansfield ISD events, championing the district through various avenues.
Mansfield ISD is fortunate to have many outstanding community partners who support the district and its mission. This year’ s Ambassador of Education award is presented to a unique organization that has positively impacted the lives of MISD students and families by providing more than 26,000 food bags.
The organization has also been a major supporter of the district’ s annual Back to School Bash, ensuring students are well-equipped to begin the new academic year. Through volunteers and donations, they contribute essential supplies that make the event possible.
Focused on meeting student needs, the organization also partners with the Mansfield ISD Clothes Closet, which offers clothing and school supplies at no cost to MISD students.
Beyond the tangible resources they provide, members of this organization dedicate their time by supplying hundreds of volunteers who uphold the district’ s core value: Students First. This year’ s Ambassador of Education is a collective made up of local churches, nonprofits and businesses that work together to prioritize student well-being.
