MEET LONGTIME STAFF WHO HELP MAKE MISD SHINE
MATT HYNDS Network Administrator
Matt Hynds has been with Mansfield ISD for more than 14 years. He began his career in the district as a network technician and advanced to his current role as a network administrator in the technology department.
Hynds said his favorite part of working in the district is having access to the latest and greatest technology, along with the close-knit, family-like atmosphere among colleagues.
His advice to those starting a career in technology: maintain strong professional relationships.
“ The network community is relatively small, and you’ ll eventually cross paths with people you’ ve worked with before,” Hynds said.“ Always act professionally and stay in good standing with others.”
PAM PINKERTON Coordinator of Library Services
Pam Pinkerton serves as the coordinator of library services for Mansfield ISD, bringing with her a diverse and accomplished 30-year career in education.
Her professional journey has included roles as a high school social studies teacher, band director, and both elementary and high school librarian. Today, she leads and supports the district’ s team of librarians, a role she describes as a privilege.
Pinkerton is a regular presenter at local and state conferences, where she shares her expertise and gains inspiration from fellow educators. In 2023, she was honored with the Heartbeat Award for her outstanding contributions to the district.
WENDELL JOUBERT Associate Principal – CCMR & SOP Timberview High School
Wendell Joubert has served in Mansfield ISD for 23 years and has 30 years of experience in education, including time as a teacher, coach and athletic director in Louisiana.
He began his MISD journey at Worley Middle School in 2002, eventually becoming its interim principal in 2010— the first Black principal in the school’ s history. His leadership helped shift the school’ s culture, and his mentoring group for young men gained national attention, by being featured in The Answer Is in the Room by Alan Blankstein.
Since 2012, Joubert has been at Timberview High School, where he continues to support student achievement and growth. He said the most rewarding part of his career has been making a lasting impact on students and staff across the district.
