Mansfield ISD Celebrates School
Board Recognition Month

anuary is School Board Recognition Month, and
Mansfield ISD joins other districts across the state
to thank these locally elected advocates of public
education.
The members of the MISD school board selflessly
volunteer their time, energy, and counsel to serve
the district and community. Along with setting
the vision and policies for the district, the MISD
board members also oversee an annual budget
of $311.2 million for more than 33,800 students,
approximately 4,500 employees, and 43 schools.
Dr. Jim Vaszauskas. “They have a true passion for
the children of Mansfield ISD, and the decisions
they make reflect that passion. On behalf of the
district, I want to say ‘thank you’ to the school board
for the countless hours they put in as volunteers
to make sure MISD remains one of the top school
districts in the state of Texas.”
