What’s Happening Around the District
Third graders at Janet Brockett Elementary School earned a
day of kickball for displaying good character.
Mary Lillard Intermediate School’s step team is in its
first year, but has already won area and state awards for
excellent performances.
Students at Judy K. Miller Elementary School showed lots of
love to the front desk staff on Administrative Professionals Day.
The JROTC students from each MISD high school showed
off their skills in the district’s second annual Pass in Review.
James Coble Middle School won the Battle of the Books,
a district competition involving all six middle schools that
encourages students to read.
