Transportation Now Provided for MISD Pre-K Students
T
o better accommodate families
who are part of the Mansfield ISD
pre-kindergarten (pre-K) program,
transportation will be provided for
students who cannot attend their home
campus due to that campus reaching its
maximum class size capacity.
Beginning in the 2016-17 school year,
when space is not available at a pre-K
student’s home campus, transportation
will be made available for that student to
attend an open pre-K class at the closest
available campus. The change will also
apply to bilingual pre-K classes.
MISD limits its pre-K class sizes to
17 students. A teacher and an aide are
assigned to each classroom.
Glenn Harmon Elementary Pre-K teacher Charlotte Hodges is about to
begin a day of learning.
Learning is a year-round experience at Mansfield ISD. The district offers a variety of
academic and enrichment opportunities for students during the summer.
Take advantage of the camps, programs, and activities for children of all ages. You can
also register for summer school classes for credit recovery or accelerated courses.
