FOUR BOARD SEATS ON BALLOT FOR MAY ELECTION
Four seats on the Mansfield ISD
Board of Trustees are on the ballot for the May election . The seats up for re-election are Place 3 , Place 4 , Place 5 and Place 7 .
The candidates for Place 3 are Craig Tipping , Shawn Thompson and Dr . Benita C . Reed . For Place 4 , Keziah Valdes Farrar and Amanda “ Mandy ” Jackson Sneed are in the race . Bianca Benavides Anderson , Jo Anna Cruz
Cardoza and Le Keishia E . Dawkins are vying for the Place 5 seat . The Place 7 race is between Courtney Lackey Wilson and Yolanda E . McPherson .
A general election will be held for Place 3 , Place 4 and Place 5 . A special election will be held for Place 7 . The elected official for Place 7 , an unexpired term , will have to run again in 2023 .

COMMUNITY MEETINGS WITH THE MISD SCHOOL BOARD
To promote more two-way conversations between the Mansfield ISD School Board and the community , the MISD Board of Trustees has begun hosting community conversation meetings throughout the remainder of the school year .
At these meetings , there will be opportunities for the public to address members of the school board with questions or concerns and receive direct feedback .
The conversations will be held on various days and locations throughout the district to provide multiple opportunities for community engagement .
