Twenty-Seven MISD Fine Arts Students Named as All-State Musicians

ansfield ISD is proud to announce the 25 band
students and two choir students who were recently
named as All-State musicians.
All-State is the highest honor a Texas music student can
receive. More than 1,600 students are selected through
a process that begins with more than 64,000 students
from around the state vying for the honor.
Congratulations to the following students who
performed at the 2016 Texas Music Educators
Association (TMEA) Convention on Saturday, Feb. 13
in San Antonio.
Lake Ridge High School has six students named as All-State
band musicians.
Legacy High School has four All-State band students and one
All-State choir student.
Summit High School has five All-State band students and one
All-State choir student.
