Legacy High School Cross Country – Toby Eaton recently completed a record-setting season . Eaton set a new school record of 15:28 at September ’ s Legacy Invitational and then broke it again at the Mayberry Invitational the same month . The junior went on to compete at the state
Eaton level .

MISD Recognized as District of Distinction in Visual Arts The Texas Art Education Association ( TAEA ) announced Mansfield ISD winner of the 2022 District of Distinction Award . More than 1,200 districts were eligible to apply , and only 59 districts met the high standard placing them in the top 4 % of art education districts in the state .

The district was formally recognized as a District of Distinction in Visual Arts during the TAEA state convention held in November in
McAllen .
Timberview High School Football Congratulations to the team for a nearly undefeated season , finishing this year as Regional Semifinals Champions .
Volleyball – Congratulations to the team for becoming a Bi-District qualifier . Additionally , Reese Robins was selected to play in the Under Armour All-America volleyball game in Orlando .

Bands Earn Mark of Excellence Several band programs across the district were awarded honors in the 2022 Mark of Excellence – National Wind Band Honors . The Mark of Excellence is a national music competition that recognizes musical ensembles for high standards in performance .

The Mansfield High School Varsity Treble Choir has been invited to perform at the National American Choral Directors Association Convention in Cincinnati in February .
LHS Earns Medal Distinction Award Congratulations to Legacy High School ’ s Wind Symphony . The group was named a National Youth Wind Ensemble of Distinction as part of the Medal of Distinction Maestro Circle national winners .
