MISD SPREADING HOLIDAY CHEER WITH UPCOMING EVENTS
Even though the major Mansfield
ISD holiday events will look a little different this year , the goal of bringing joy to the community remains the same .
The annual MISD Tree Lighting Ceremony is on Nov . 19 at 6 p . m . MISD ’ s Toys for Tots Community Drive will be on Wednesday , Dec . 2 from 5 to 10:30 p . m .
Both events will be held at the Mansfield ISD Center for the Performing Arts , located at 1110 W . Debbie Lane , Mansfield , TX , 76063 . They are open to the public and free of charge .
The tree lighting event on Nov . 19 will feature a holiday drivein movie experience of musical performances from the preschool students of the Dr . Sarah K . Jandrucko Academy for Early Learners .
During the singing of carols , guests will be able to indulge in free cookies and hot chocolate . The evening will
conclude with the lighting of the large tree in the center of the main parking lot .
The “ Toys for Tots 2020 : Holiday Cheertacular ” event will also be an event that is safe and fun for the entire family .
Each year , Mansfield ISD gathers thousands of toys in partnership with its schools , local business partners and other community organizations to help families in need — a mission that is more important than ever .
