MANSFIELD ISD EARNS ANOTHER ‘A’ RATING FROM THE STATE M ISD has earned an ‘A’ rating in the Texas Education Agency’s (TEA) accountability rating system for the second consecutive year. The accountability grade is based largely on performance on state standardized tests and graduation rates. The ratings examine student achievement, student progress, efforts to close the achievement gap and postsecondary readiness. Mansfield ISD students have consistently outperformed state averages in the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) exams, and MISD is among the top-scoring districts when comparing STAAR results with surrounding and comparison districts.
