Staff members at Donna Shepard Intermediate
School “rocked” the day with different themed activities
to increase student engagement and reignite a love for
learning.
The kitchen team at Louise Cabaniss Elementary
School invited Superintendent Dr. Jim Vaszauskas to eat
lunch and meet with their young learners.
Tarver-Rendon Elementary School is in the running
to win $100,000 to expand its agricultural leadership
program. The public has until Nov. 3 to cast a vote at
www.ThankAmericasTeachers.com.
A student at Rogene Worley Middle School received
a special Friday night lights experience when he was
invited on the football field to join in on the fun after a
game win.
JROTC cadets from Legacy High School presented
colors at the Dallas Cowboys vs. Arizona Cardinals
football game at AT&T Stadium.
Veterans and first responders were invited to Willie E.
Brown Elementary School’s Patriot Day ceremony in
which students sang to the community heroes.
