The Paralympic Games are held
every four years for athletes with
disabilities and usually occur a few
weeks after the Olympics ends.
The games are designed to
emphasize the participants’
athletic achievements and not
their disability. This was the 15th
edition of the modern Paralympic
Games.
Utley was also part of last year’s
Parapan American Games, which
is the regional qualifying event for
the Paralympic Games.
