A poem by  Demedrius Charles  CLARITY Here on a stool in a darkened corner of her room She feels enveloped in an Angelic wing, she embraces safe, There afloat on this ride of spirituality. An imaginary light beams and alleviate a moment of doom. “How great thou art” Yolanda’s version of the greatest hymn. Takes her on a journey where comfort heightens within, To a home where beauty is seen in all. Where the weakest of men hold their own, they do stand tall. Tempted and tried she has often asked herself, To try and imagine a world where good do exist. Where evil doers, where evil nurturers are no longer, And life, be it human, animal or tree; lives fuller, stronger. Somewhere in a darken corner of her room, With an Angelic wing wrapped around her, And a heavenly light beams a path of epiphany; She feels the good, she feels a relief coming.
