WHAT IS MANE

WORKING ON?

We are providing steel workers for the construction of Newfoundland, a 60-storey residential building in the heart of the Canary Wharf estate. The workers began on the site in early January 2017 and will continue working on-site for 18 months for the duration of the buildings construction.

The foundation of the building is now complete and work has begun on the interior concrete core using a jump form system. As the core rises, the apartment floors will be put into place along with the exterior steel diamond grid (diagrid) which supports the structure and makes up the unique look of Newfoundland. The tower has been dubbed “The Diamond” by some for its exterior steel frame. Newfoundland will be comprised of over 550 suites along with retail space and amenities, such as a health club and spa, with completion in late 2018.
