It is by far the busiest railway station in Europe, with around 190 million passengers using it each year. It was inaugurated in 1846, making it one of the world’s oldest, and has an imposing façade, designed by Jacques Hittorff.

World Trade Center Transportation Hub , New York, USA – Most expensive station to build

Constructed at the cost of $4 billion, nearly twice the original estimate was re-opened after it was rebuilt in 2016. The World Trade Center station has five tracks and four platforms in the middle of a turning loop.
