L'OREAL UV SENSE

L’Oréal’s UV Sense is a tiny sensor capable of detecting ultraviolet exposure that’s small enough to wear comfortably on your fingernail. The senor sends data to your phone to the accompanying app. It keeps track of your exposure levels and lets you know whether you're spending too much time in the sun. The UV Sense will be available in the summer for rougly $50 USD.

VIVO X20 PLUS UD

Vivo unveiled a world first at CES 2018 - an in-screen finger print reader. We've seen an increase in "bezel-less" smartphones, but finger print sensors have had to be relocated or removed entirely to make room for the screen. The Vivo X20 Plus UD has the sensor right under the glass and works as you'd expect. The tech only works on an OLED screen, as an LCD backlight would distrupt the sensor.

LENOVO SMART DISPLAY

Lenovo introduced its smart display/speaker which is similar to Amazon's Echo Show. The smart display comes with the Google Assistant built in and works just like other smart speakers, but with the advantage of display what the Assistant reads out on the display as well. It looks like an Android tablet - but acts just like the Google Home, with just a little bit extra that can go a long way.
