WEI LEI , Ph . D ., an assistant professor of pharmaceutical sciences and pharmacogenomics , is trained in multiple fields , including veterinary sciences , regulatory sciences , nutrition , immunology and pharmacology which have facilitated his broad interests in research . He has been involved in pharmacy education since 2019 and has mentored pharmacy and undergraduate students in the classroom as well as in the research laboratory .

YOUSIF ROJEAB , Ph . D ., a professor of pharmaceutical sciences and pharmacogenomics , spent the past 15 years on the faculty at Ohio Northern University Raabe College of Pharmacy . He received his B . Sc . in Pharmacy in 1999 and a Ph . D . in Pharmaceutics from the University of Houston in 2007 . He is also a licensed pharmacist in Ohio , Michigan and Indiana . His research lab focuses on two main areas ; physicochemical characterization , preformulation , formulation and delivery of anti-cancer agents ; and bioavailability / bioequivalence evaluations of novel and conventional orally administered solid dosage forms .

KIMBERLI PIKE , M . S ., RDN , CSSD , LD , an associate professor of nutrition and nutrigenomics , is a registered dietitian and board-certified specialist in sports dietetics . She served as a senior clinical lecturer for 18 years at Ball State University . Also serving as a dietetics program director , she taught students in dietetics , exercise science , athletic training , nursing and other health care professions . Additionally , as an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics
( ACEND ) program director she provided care in clinical , sports and public health settings , and served as a consulting sports dietitian in the National Hockey League . As a candidate in the Doctor of Clinical Nutrition program at Rutgers University , Pike defends her dissertation October 27 , 2022 . She completed doctoral residency in oncology last year at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center ’ s Hope Lab . Her research interests include oncology , dietetics education , clinical and sports nutrition , and nutrition services delivery .

SARA THOMPSON , Pharm . D ., BCACP , an assistant professor of pharmacy practice , joined Manchester as assistant director of experiential education . She earned her Pharm . D . degree at Belmont University College of Pharmacy in Nashville , Tenn ., with a specialized concentration in Public Health and Missions . She completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency at the VA Caribbean Healthcare System in San Juan , Puerto Rico , followed by a PGY2 in Pharmacotherapy with an emphasis in Family Medicine and Academia at the University of Texas at El Paso School of Pharmacy . Most recently , Thompson served at North Dakota State University School of Pharmacy in Fargo where she specialized in oncology and medical Spanish . She is currently a candidate for a Master of Education ( M . Ed .) in Educational Leadership at the university ’ s School of Education .
Her final project relates to the learning theory of communities of practice . Espoused by Etienne Wenger , this theory can be used to inform best practices in experiential education .
