Reunions College of Business Cookout Accounting, business, entrepreneurial studies and other business graduates will gather to connect and network with alumni and current students in the tent on East Street, Saturday, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Those not attending a class reunion luncheon may join us for a cookout at 11:30 a.m. Cost is $11 per person, $5.50 for ages 6 to 12, and free for children 5 and younger. Please R.S.V.P. on your registration form and pay online to help us plan accordingly. You also may purchase a meal at the event. Athletic Training Cookout Athletic training majors and their families are invited to a reunion where you will find good food, conversation and fellowship. Come share your stories with current students and network with other alumni. Current faculty and students will grill hamburgers and hot dogs with all the fixings. The event starts Saturday, Oct. 8., at 10:30 a.m. at the football field near the gate by the track. Choir and Band “I gotta get away, gotta get away ... games people play ....”The Spinners knew what they were talking about. Come get away and have fun performing with current students in the annual Homecoming concert Friday, Oct. 7, in Cordier Auditorium. We’re not looking for perfection – just MU grads who love music and enjoy a chance to practice and perform alongside current student musicians. Arrive early on Friday to practice. A 90-minute choir rehearsal begins at 3 p.m. in Wine Recital Hall. Band rehearsal is set for 4 - 5:30 p.m., in Cordier. At 7:30 p.m., all performers will take the stage together for a concert that’s as much fun for them as it is for the audience! Reception to follow. Medical Practicum Cookout Alumni who have participated in Manchester’s Medical Practicum are invited to a reunion. Join current students, Professor Jeff Osborne, and Professor Emeritus Ed Miller in the tent on East Street, Saturday, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Share your stories about how the Medical Practicum has impacted your life and hear about the experiences of current students as well as the future direction of the program.
