Here’s how it works: Look on the mailing label of this Manchester magazine for your alumni ID number following your name. Go to http://alumni.manchester.edu. You’ll see a page that says Manchester University alumni at the top. In the upper right-hand corner, click on “first time login” and be prepared to provide the ID number on the magazine mailing label. Patrick Forester ’12 is an emergency medical technician for Emergent Health Partners in Ann Arbor, Mich. 36 | Benjamin Houston ’12 of Bargersville, Ind., earned a master of arts degree in history from Western Illinois University in May after successfully defending his master’s thesis, Creating the Consumer-Runner: The Impact of Medicine, Commercialization and Public Awareness on the Popularization of Long-Distance Running in the United States During the Twentieth Century. Nick Barbknecht ’13 of Indianapolis, Ind., traveled this past summer to all of the lower 48 states and documented his travels on Facebook. He is now working to open the northwest Indiana office of RQAW Consulting Engineers and Architects.
