Ken retired from Duneland School Corp. after 31 years and is now pastor of adults at Crossroads Family Church in Portage, Ind. Donald Michaelsen ’67 of Olmsted Falls, Ohio, was elected to the 17-member steering committee as a member-at-large for a two-year term with the Institute for Learning in Retirement (ILR). ILR, the nation’s largest single-location educational nonprofit for seniors with 1,727 members, is a part of Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio. Martha M. Phyllis Weimer ’69x Michaelsen of Olmsted Falls, Ohio, has been senior coding specialist for Medical Mutual of Ohio in Cleveland for the past 18 years. Doug Firebaugh ’62 of Freeport, Ill., has been honored by the Planetary Studies Foundation which named the observatory he helped build and direct for 32 years the “Doug Firebaugh Observatory.” Karl E.
