My family and I love meeting up every so often on a random Friday night and getting some grub at this spot in downtown Bennington. Their 421 Smash Burger is a hit with all of us! What makes this one stand out are the grilled onions, housemade pickles, and the mustard sauce. No need for ketchup on this burger! It’ s also topped with cheddar cheese and bacon and served on a brioche bun, which makes any handheld better in my book!

Barrows House is a special place to eat or have a drink, especially before catching a show at The Dorset Playhouse, and, of course, if you’ re staying at the Inn as a guest. My colleague, Kim Jones, and I went there for a fun Ladies’ Night out, ready to dig into their signature Woodlawn Farmstead Wagyu beef burger.
