Upstairs from the lobby and restaurant, Sun Lodge’ s 50 guest rooms blend comfort with simplicity. Carrie adds:“ We wanted them to be a place to unwind without feeling crowded or cluttered.” Each room is accented with muted tone fabrics and natural wood touches. Suites offer flexible layouts for families, including adjoining rooms. Views vary: Some look out onto the wooded hillside behind the hotel, others offer views of the mountain ranges to the south. Trail-side rooms on the ground floor open to small patios.“ In the winter, we call them ski-in, ski-out rooms,” Bob explains.“ You can clip in and glide straight to the lift.”
