Pearl’ s at the Garage describes her work with a smile:“ It’ s kind of like playing with science experiments all day. Tasty science experiments.”
For Erin, every cocktail is a chance to balance flavor and artistry, turning a drink into an experience unto itself. Garnishes dusted with spices and attached with the cutest clothes pins, rims lined with sugar or graham cracker, and colors that pop as much as they refresh— are all reflected in the creative cocktail program. There are also fun mocktails on the menu, like Pearl’ s Peach Tea, Pi-No Colada, and a Cranberry Lime Rickey.
“ This is the most beautiful bar,” says Erin,“ and it’ s very interactive, like a big group conversation. It’ s nice to feel like a part of the community from here behind the bar.”
This winter, Pearl’ s at the Garage is leaning into the season with new menu offerings, cozy cocktails, and the same sense of hospitality that has made its Manchester counterpart a favorite. The seasonal food and drink menu features cocktail standouts like S’ mores by the Bonfire— a pleasing mix of Village Bonfire bourbon, Gosling’ s ginger beer, maple syrup, and lime juice, rimmed with graham cracker crumbs and topped with a torched marshmallow. It’ s a drink that tastes like a night by the fire, equal parts nostalgic and sophisticated. Meanwhile, the White Winter Cosmo lightens things up with Village Vodka, Cointreau, lime juice, white cranberry juice, and a kiss of simple syrup garnished with a sprig of rosemary and some fresh cranberries— crisp, bright, and festive! The feedback from patrons is that these are the prettiest drinks in the area.
