This season marks a wonderful new chapter, not only for our publication( with its first-ever Holiday / Winter issue), but for me personally.
It is with tremendous excitement and gratitude that I write to you as the new Editor-in-Chief of Manchester Life Magazine!
As the Editor of The Guide( Manchester Life’ s weekly e-newsletter), I have been privileged to share stories and events that highlight our wonderful area, week after week. Being the Editor-in Chief of Manchester Life Magazine is the next logical step, and it is one I happily embrace.
As we celebrate the spirit of the Holidays and the coziness of Winter together, my team and I are thrilled to bring you stories, inspiration, and local events that capture the magic of Manchester and the surrounding towns at this special time of year. I couldn’ t do it without my colleagues, and I heartily thank them for everything they do to make our publications shine.
One of the best things about being here this season is Manchester Merriment, a time of year that is chock full of Holiday events from Thanksgiving to the New Year. Be sure to check out our feature on the Manchester Tractor Parade( page 14), one of Merriment’ s signature events!
We’ ve got Holiday and Winter fun for everyone in this issue!
For all you foodies, we have delectable desserts brought to you by local pastry chefs( page 28), a spotlight on Pearl’ s at the Garage in Bennington( page 66), and a peek into the artistry and legacy of Le Creuset cookware’ s 100th anniversary celebration and the unveiling of their holiday collections( page 8).
Looking for a fun adventure?
How about an exhilarating off-road Land Rover Experience( page 42) or a visit to Riley Rink( page 62) for an explosive game of hockey or an ice-skating excursion?
No matter how you enjoy the Holiday and Winter seasons, Manchester and its surrounding towns have so much to offer. I feel very lucky to be a part of it all, and I hope you do, too, whether you’ re a neighbor up the road or a guest visiting from afar.
Wishing you all a joyful Holiday season and a cozy, peaceful Winter filled with friends, family, and love.
