From July 7-9 at Northshire Civic Center , the Dead of Summer festival will bring sublime and groovy music and fun to Manchester ! The eclectic lineup includes jam-band legend Melvin Seals of the Jerry Garcia Band ; stellar hybrid tribute bands including Pink Talking Fish , Steely Dead , and Deadgrass ; genre-blending bands and solo artists such as Bella ’ s Bartok , Clare Maloney & The Great Adventure and Hayley Jane ; and celebrated local acts like the Berkshires-based traditional blues group , Misty Blues , and Southern Vermont-based Americana and folk-roots outfit , Saints & Liars .
On-site activities at the festival include tie dye , yoga , and family-friendly music and dancing . The front half of the disc golf course is also open for play throughout the duration of Dead of Summer . Festival gates open at 9AM on July 7 , and on-site tent , RV , and van camping is available with the purchase of an RV pass or a 2-day festival pass with a camping ticket . Featured local vendors such as Willoughby ’ s Donuts , Sexy Llama Coffee Roasters , and Wilcox Ice Cream will be bringing their delicious products to the festival , and local sponsors and partners include TPW Real Estate , Northshire Insurance , and 102.7 WEQX .
