Vermont, Jun. 29–Nov. 3, explores a
tumultuous decade and the social
and cultural revolution that helped
define Vermont as we know it today.
The 1863 Jane Stickle Quilt, Aug. 31–
Oct. 14, that inspires quilters all over the
world will be on its yearly display. The
quilt is comprised of 169 five-inch blocks,
each in different patterns, containing
a remarkable total of 5,602 pieces
surrounded by a unique scalloped border.

BENNINGTON BATTLE DAY WEEKEND
CELEBRATION
AUG. 16–19
The official Battle Day is August 16,
and commencing on Thursday the
Bennington Fire Department will host
events commemorating the Battle
of Bennington, a turning point in the
Revolutionary War. Activities include a 5K
morning fun-run at the Battle Monument,
a downtown parade, Battle of the Pies,
