DORSET HISTORICAL SOCIETY On the third Thursday of each month, the Dorset Historical Society hosts a lunch lecture at its Bley House Museum. Attendees should bring a lunch. EQUINOX PRESERVE The Equinox Preserve consists of over 914 acres on the slopes of Mt Equinox. The series of trails are open for pedestrian use and range from short, easy walks through the woods for families to steep, half-day ascents to the top of the mountain for more experienced hikers. FARMERS’ MARKETS The summer season brings with it nature’ s bounty, and Vermont is one of the best places to find locally sourced food and products. The Manchester Farmers’ Market occurs on Thursdays from 3 – 6pm at Adams Park in Manchester, the Dorset Farmers’ Market on Sundays from 10am – 2pm at H. N. Williams Store in Dorset, and the West River Farmers’ Market on Saturdays from 9am – 1pm at the intersections of Routes 11 and 100 in Londonderry.
