QUICK FACTS ON FORM, FITNESS, STAMINA

All of them will affect performance, Fitness being not good enough by having low stamina has an increased risk of injuries happening. Form is trained by FITNESS training plus SCRIMMAGE games. Fitness training will take you to a certain level, Scrimmage games will build upon that some more. Fitness will also quickly improve stamina. Scrimmage games will also make players a bit happier.

What's the deal with formations?

This looks like any standard 442 formation, and it is. Players are four defenders, four midfielders and two forwards.

During a match, the players will run, pass, tackle, dribble, head, shoot. Depending on the individual orders given, they will try following those quite precisely.

Some say 3-5-2 is the most powerful formation. It feels natural to say so as the midfield is then most crowded and you have options to send some forth and some back to make offense stronger or defence tighter.

Longball will make team pass the ball long distance and hold it very short time individually.

Passing will make team pass the ball medium distance and hold the ball as little as with Longball.

Direct ball is touch and go style of play, like the tiki-taka of Barcelona.

Zone play will make team pass the ball short distance quickly to nearest teammate.

Move with ball will make team hold the ball individually and pass medium distances.

So on team tactical level you can choose how to distribute the ball, by choosing how long to hold the ball and how long to pass it.
