ManagerSim August 2017 | Page 30

I have been playing soccersim for a long time in the old days. (I had a Verona team that won CL and some Seria A titles, can´t remember which game it was). We also have a group of brasilian friends that played in some game worlds together (we met on another online games) and we even played all together in a Polish league once. I was addicted and kept playing (and paying) in the Sprite Fish era and then the game went down. When I discover it was back, the old addiction came back and I am still here playing.

After most of my old time friends leaving the game I started to enjoy less the game. I was considering quiting the game after my time at Roma, but then I took Arsenal and the old will to play come back so I am staying at least for more one or two seasons. I think the game is evolving, but to be honest I don´t know if it will have a future outside the current managers base. People are not used anymore to invest time in a game to get the results the way you need to do in managersim, they want instant fun. It´s a pitty as this is the best footbal management game by far and the community is also great.

I think the future is to build an app and somehow try to attrack a lot of new managers to get involved in the game, just don´t know how to do it. We also need some improvements in the game itself, the economy still need some tweaks and we need to find a way to keep the leagues more competitive (it´s better now then before, but it should be even better, it need to be challenging and also rewarding). Players, specially youth, should not accept offers from teams where they will not play, this don´t make sense, big teams buying youth just to sell for profit later. The increase on manager firing is also great for the gaame (and for the managers, I can speak for myself).

In real life, I am a brasilian on the forty´s that work with IT. My name is Rodrigo Rivera, from Porto Alegre, Brasil. And I am also a huge Gremio fan.

A: I play since the time of SoccerSim, I do not remember the year well, but I imagine it started in the middle of 2002/2003.

B: Currently the game ManagerSim is going in a very interesting way, every day that passes this better and more real. Vicious game that allows good interaction between coaches. Everything indicates that with the passage of time and improvement of the same, all the leagues will be filled, making the game more competitive. The ManagerSim community along with the Forum is getting better and better together, making the game healthier and new players can always exchange ideas with more experienced players. Another important point is that the ManagerSim community is more and more interacting each day and not only giving better ideas to make the game better, but also errors that over time are corrected and optimized. To finish this topic, we alert everyone that Barcelona is full and ready to conquer this season TRIPLETE (CL / CUP / LEAGUE).

C: I only dream about the improvement of the game and I would like very soon that with a good publicity, ManagerSim became very well known worldwide to the point that all teams from all leagues were a human trainer, forcing the game to create new leagues.

A: I used to play the game in the past and I was always trying to break dominancies, like I did in Germany with Nurnburg and like I tried in Spain with Deportivo these days.

B: We are much older than when we started to play, so many people wants to be around as a nostalgic thing more than really spend time playing in my opinion. About me, I may say I am staying because I enjoy the game and it was very good to reconnect with some old friends.

C: Well, it is hard to say as changes are too fast and sometimes I feel like I don't follow them all and my speed seems slower than game pace.

D: Fabio Ashcar from Brazil.

A: Soccersim fulltest: Panathinaikos for about 12 seasons (won 4 leagues and 2 cups), then a lot of teams (about 2 or 3 seasons each): Freiburg, Austria Salzburg, Wisla Krakov, Ado den Haag, the last was Hannover 96. Eurotest: Sartid, Tenerife.

B: Currently managing Torino, 4th season, probably I´ll move to another one, board of managers are always full of unpleasant surprises. Previously, I managed Carnaerfon Town, for 12 seasons (10 complete). About the game: very nice to play here again, the game is growing in funcionalities due to the efforts and constant experiments carried out by the gamemasters, and I hope that it becomes more and more realistic along time.

C: My main concern is about the health of the planet, I hope to see people working not to destroy it, I hope to see people more tolerant and healthier, I hope to live to see the end of the wars all around the world.

The game: options to play with teams from Brazil, Argentina, or other contries.

D: Fábio B. V. Oliveira, from São Paulo, Brazil, a fan, since birth, of the greatest soccer team in the Americas, São Paulo F.C..

Hello my name is Peter Waddell, veteran of full test where I was the Chelsea manager, on the cusp of glory by winning the premier league & reaching then CL final before it bloody closed. Was also the GM of the game too. Never thought the game would ever return until BK contacted us about his venture, would like to think I helped out in some way towards resurrection of this game.

I now play in Germany at Munchengladbach & am the present GM of the game. I am a UK resident probably the oldest player in the game at 55 years old. I am a huge Barnsley FC fan, and would like to think I know most players on here, actually had a meet up along time ago & recently met up with BK in Sweden & Chris Silcock at Wembley.

I hope that BK does get the game to app, as it is the right direction for the game, although the youth of today may struggle with the dedication & long term outlook you need with this game, when we first played it we had not a lot of choice & a one tick game, imagine that!

Anyone have any problems regarding the game feel free to contact me.
