ManagerSim August 2017 | Page 18

A: Yes I played back from the very beginning, when it was Soccersim. I Played in many games, 2 tick, 4 tick and I believe there was a 12 tick game to? With a few friends, we started playing in the Norway div 2, and made it a very competative league.

B: I am older, and time is not as free as it used to be. SO I don't have the same energy to put in the game, but I still enjoy and support the idea, of building the best and most realistic online managergame. I have always enjoyed taking small clubs to glory, and the developing of young talents to great players, is what I find most fun. Building a team from scratch. The game is still fun. I see a few obsticals that has proven hard to fix. The economy in the game is still dodgy, and therefor players get traded at to high prices, wages can still get out of hand, and as I have said earlier, I believe the youth academy, should be build differently. But I like that there is happening things, and I still support the game.

C: I am concerned about the future. Right now it looks like we as a crowed can fund the upkeep, but seeing that the flow of new players is little to non, I fear when people start dripping away, there will not be enough left to fund it. I wish there could be a taskforce to find the focus areas to see this game become more realistic, and hence become more attractive to "propper" players, that want the same challenges that I do. Whishes, I want the economy to be fixed propper :-)

I Want the youth academy to "make sense". Investment vs output

I want the AI to become better managers (both tactical but also bussinesslike).

I want the UEFA cup to become like it is in RL.

I would like to see a "reserves league" in all nations, that could "replace some of the friendly games".

I want new managers that sign up, to receive a "handbook" to introduce them easy to the game. A "Idiot walkthru".

D: My name is Christopher Harrison, and I live in Denmark. I am 40 years old and my two kids and full time job and nagging wife, keeps me from spending time looking all leagues thru for potential great players... Dang..

Roger Svendsen, Norway:

A: Yes I played it when it was called SoccerSim.

B: I love the game but think it`s hard with this high wages, and so small income , in small clubs , but I will try my best . I like best bild my own team.

C: I think something have to change with the income to the small clubs, and get poinst after what kind off club you manage . It is harder to train a small club, and when you have good young players and can't sell other players as you have a too small squad, even if I 14 young players. I should be able to sell, as youth should count as well.

"I'm Felippe 'Fritz' Delangelo, videomaker, born and raised in Brasília, Brazil, famous for its modernist architecture. I also lived in Rio de Janeiro, Madrid and Warsaw. Now back in my hometown.

I started playing the game in 2000, I was only a 12 year kid and didn't know exactly what I was doing. I barely knew english but I thought it was fun. I always preferred playing in small countries. I've been through them all and it helped me develop a passion on cartography actually.

In this last reincarnation of the game, I started in Finland with FC Jazz and it took me 7 seasons to beat Mario Cardoso's FC Haka. When I did it, I moved to Bari and stayed 2 or 3 seasons. Then I got to Hamilton Academicals in Scotland, always the best small country. In touch with fellow Scottish managers, I took a more serious approach to the game and started developing young nationals. 4 seasons goes and I'm CL champion. I also organize the Summer Youth Cup.

I love the game, the engine but by the way it looks, it's a nostalgia game for the ones here. There's a need to redesign it and I'm looking forward for the app version. It's the only way we can have more managers.

I think the market should be less difficult. Players should go to whatever paying club appears. If you start as a level 1 and you have the money, you can't buy players. They all refuse. That's frustrating for a newcomer. CPU is always trying to buy your players and most don't want to go. That shouldn't happen.

I'd like to have the ratings (assistant button) made public in the app version. There are a lot of numbers to look at and not every manager wants to play with that much information. Pledgers could still get possible rating. Oh, one last thing I'd love to see: an unified transfer list."

A) I also played the game in the old days when it was called Soccersim. Me and a group of friends were duking it out in Norway.

B) I am currently managing Buducnost in the Bosnian League and have no plans of applying for a manager job elsewhere - there is still a lot of work to be done in Buducnost. I am not very active in the (game?) community since my background for playing this is to compete with my friends.

C) I am not very ambitious on behalf of this game because I enjoy the fact that it is not very time consuming (for my part at least) and relatively simple (in a positive way). In other words I am just pleased by the fact the game is up and running so thank you for putting all this time and effort into this. If I should have wish it would be the possibility of managing a national team along with being the manager of a club team.

D) My name is Kristian and I am from Denmark
