The League

Of The Greatest

Italy had five different managers winning the Serie A in the last five seasons, making the league one of the toughest leagues to win. The amount of talent is incredible, great number of experienced managers and great tactical approach to the game, fanatic fans.

Season 2008/2009 saw a double winner in Lazio winning league and cup gold one more time with new manager Berhan Karagoez, who at the end of the season left for English Championship outfit Leeds.

In Europe Juventus and Torino went all the way to play semi-finals where they met their match in Real Madrid and Barcelona, two of the very best teams in the game.

Juventus with Thiago in management has been performing well, and were very close to winning the league. Torino played very

well and might feel a bit disappointed with 6th

place but the future holds something special for this team. They can very soon be one of the best teams in Italy. Igor has done an amazing job with his team.

Pundits believe Lazio will either get relegated or sack their manager Chris Silcock for underperforming in league and cup.

This also might be the year Thiago and his Juventus win the league, or perhaps even a double. Torino will be a strong contender and can surprise people winning the cup or similar. Milan and Inter new bosses will need to perform well in order to get the respect of the other teams.

This season the European adventure for the Italian teams does not look good, things can change of course but we will predict a weak season for the Italian teams in European competition.

Roffredo Bagio or Ruggiero Disanti ?

Disanti has been very impressive at Torino but finds himself often over-shadowed in the national team by superstar Rofredo Bagio at PSG.

If only there was place for both in the national team...

Disanti could be the decisive factor in the Torino Italian adventure. The Young Italian talent is one of the best strikers in the game today.

Thiago Netz, Juventus

experienced manager, hasn't won anything significant, been building a solid team and waiting for his chance. This has to be the year Juventus wins the league.

Igor Kostovski, Torino

has won the Copa Italia twice, Igor dreams of Italian league gold and European cup glory, no doubt, and they can do it, having the material and capacity.

Arturo Bandini, Fiorentina

In order to lose the 'one wonder hit' label, Fiorentina need to take care of business when there is a chance of doing exactly that.

Alexandre Festas, Bologna

has been improving everything and could surprise everyone by qualifying to one of the European tournaments.
