Morten Torskog, Manchester United experienced manager, hasn't won anything significant, been building a solid team since his arrival from Celtic. This could be one of the best seasons for Manchester United.

Paul Skelton, Middlesbrough

has won the league 3 times, and a UEFA cup. Anyone underestimating this man will wonder "what went wrong?" after the game. Top 3 is most likely in the books.

Thomas Schmidt, Newcastle

former Belgian champion and 2x cup winner with Anderlecht, Thomas had a remarkable last season and will look to build upon their performance.

Maiquel Felpis, Everton

very mysterious manager, does not like to give interviews and few know his true origin.

England?

Middlesbrough won another league title last season, reached cup final to lose against Manchester City.

The ex-Everton boss Paulo Francisco who has been voicing concerns that football is a corrupt game, governing body packed with criminals, left the game in protest, which has made the English premier league an open competition for all again.

Newcaste was the last seasons surprise to perform fantastically and reach second place and play cup semi-finals.

In the European cups, Blackburn Rovers and Manchester United were eliminated in the quarter finals of UEFA cup, and in Champions league, the only English team to reach Round 2, ended up in a group with 3 Italian teams to finish last.

All things aside, the Premier League is one of the most even and competitive

leagues in the game, and maybe the teams don't have the economy, fan base and talent as the Spanish, German and Italian leagues, but the competition is still very tough and challenging.

It's been a while since an English team has done anything significantly in the European competitions.

Leicester's new boss Stephen Woodhead is known to be a good performer before quitting too early and if he is able to keep up the interest we might see Leicester do very well.

Some even say Sunderland will be the next champion this season (2009-2010).

Ruud Van Nistelrooy or Alfonso Campione?

Ruud Van Nistelrooy ( the older and the worse version ) of Manchester United will perhaps help his team win the league before hanging up his boots?

Young Alfonso Campione can help Middlesbrough to win another title. The youngster has been impressive since he joined the team in 22nd of Jan, 2009
