Barcelona Supremo, Pedro Pereira, had 3 league championships and as many league cups in Scotland with Celtic, before joining the Spanish giants, Barcelona in 2015.

Upon joining his new club, first season Mr. Pereira won the Primera División, reached the cup final to lose against Real Madrid.

Then the next three seasons were dominated by Real Madrid in the league, where Barcelona got 3 second places vs the 3 first places of Real Madrid. In the Copa Del Rey Barcelona won 2 of the 3 finals they reached.

Season of 2008/2009 Barcelona won the long awaited Champions League trophy, another Copa Del Rey, and finished just 2 points behind the winners Real Madrid.

Real Madrid with André Leandro, will be looking for another terrific season in 2009/2010.

Ralf Nienaber or César Juárez?

The German super striker is just 23 years old, moved to Barcelona on a record breaking 280M transfer fee, has been deadly in the penalty area in his club and national team.

Few can match Nienhaber's greatness but perhaps Real Madrid own product, César Juárez, will fight Ralf for the title of MVP in Primera División.

Barcelona

vs

Real Madrid

At the beginning of every season, some managers in Spain will fancy their chances and begin to think in terms of 'Doable', 'Points for grabs', 'Why not?!' until they face Barcelona or Real Madrid.

Then they are served facts of reality that it will take much more than luck to dethrone Spanish champions. Both grand teams have owned competition in Spain, both league and cup has been subscription only affair for the two world class teams.

Both teams have Champions League experience where, Real Madrid had two final losses and Barcelona one. On Apr 09 2009, the Spanish giants would clash for a Champions League final, where Real had the chance to get one more trophy, after winning one in 2007 against Bayern M, and Barcelona to lift their first ever CL gold after failing to do so in 2004 against Inter.

2008/2009 was Barcelona's season, and looking back at the last three seasons, they have been performing better and better.

Barcelona is a serious powerhouse and only the tactical wizardry of Real boss André Leandro can put a stop to Barcelona dream of a treble. The other teams are getting better but are still some way off the class needed to do damage against Barcelona or Real Madrid.

Some may ask themselves, if the managers won't move to new challenge after winning the titles they have won, but neither manager has won the treble in Spain, and we believe they will try doing exactly that.

Who will be successful?
