What is the worst moment, memory or achievement?
The whole first season while trying to figure out how things worked. I lost a very good youth player to free transfer only because i didn’t know how long it takes to negotiate before player decided to go away.
You left Lazio, a great team, why?
The workload at work is constantly increasing so I had to leave such a great team like Lazio. By far Lazio is still my favorite team, that is what I am most proud of, I took a really good team and made it the best team, winning Serie A, Coppa Italia, Uefa Cup, and Champions League.
Who, in your opinion is the best manager?
Not an easy question, but André, manager of Réal Madrid for his incredible skills to analyze tactics and adapt to opponents and also David Esteves who was able to adapt and learn the new changes. Both are great managers. To be fair I have to give also a shout at Thiago, Woody, Pedro Pereira, Jorge Costa, Luis Costa, Fabio Ashcar, René and obviously Berhan, Raphael and Paulo too.
What do you think about the new features?
Until very recently scouts were useless. Not anymore!
There may be some small features that may help the game be more friendly but nothing major, many improvements were made to bring the game to the next level.
You have won Serie A, Copa Italia, UEFA and Champions League, what would your next challenge be?
Taking over a small team in a small country where I won't be sacked for not being able to log on for 2-3 days.
You donated money so two more spots in the board were made available, what was the thinking there?
I wanted to give the chance to people to be part of the Initiative board to see what it is. Most may see us as a closed group that changes things at their will, BK being kind of a sect guru who dictates everything. That is not the case, it it’s actually quite the opposite, as the board members are the those who dictate changes. Congrats to Stephen and René who were elected by the 4 members. Because in the initiative board we decide everything as a group, even if I was the one donating for the seats, I wanted them to be voted by all board members and not only by me.
This game potential is huge; it doesn’t take long before you get addicted to it. With more game players and more divisions open, ( like in CH2 ) and with more up to date leagues data, including MLS and South American leagues, it will be even more fun. The 'Free on Relegation' frenzy back in CH2, was crazy. I wish people to continue helping to make this game better by sharing their thoughts about what was done and what could be done better but in a peaceful way, as we all love this game and sky is the limit. As long as people keep enjoy playing and be respectful of each other, I see a bright future for this game.
