THE Board
1. Who are you and what do you do for living ?
2. What do you do in the Board and why did
you join?
3. What would you want for the game in the
nearest future?
4. What next bigger step would be good for the
game?
Andres Soto, joined from the Kickstater Campaign, as first member
1. Andrés Emilio Soto, licensed real estate
salesperson in New York City. I'm also the owner, founder and host of NYCFC Fan Podcast, which supports New York City's only MLS team.
2. I bring a much needed New York flair to the
game and in all sincerity want to help take this game to the next level, every single tick. I chose to join so I can have a vote in the direction the game moves.
3. What I want for the game in the near future is
the possibility to open the game to thousands of new users with different game worlds in a sustainable technological support system.
4. The next biggest step for the game is
obtaining a way to monetize from advertising without losing stability and game quality.
Helder Mendes Martins, joined after Kickstarter, as second member
1. I'm 35 y. old, working for family business as
a project manager.
2. I suggest things and vote on modifications
and try to put some heat in there!! Try to find
what's best for the game and players.
3. To reach the next level! Be crowded with
most possible players to open up as many countries and divisions possible and make it even more fun to play.
4. Becoming an app game! Most of the time
I'm working and/or away from home so to adapt the game to 2016 reality and be more mobile friendly so we can play whenever we want wherever we are.
Kjetil Helland, joined after Kickstarter, as third member
1. I work with IT in a Bank, live in a little town
about 200km south of Oslo, Norway.
2. I joined the board based on my love for this
game back in the days. Hopefully able to
contribute a bit with my IT knowledge and also with my experience playing all Football Manager games the last 25 years.
3. I would have love some more control of the
youth academy, instruct the academy to focus on special abilities and/or positions.
4. Playable as an app would be great, good
way to attract new players in the future.
Thiago Netz, elected as managers' representative, fourth member
1. I'm a Brazilian, graduated in business
management and currently working for Rio
2016 Olympic Committee in a totally different area.
2. I was given the chance by the original
members of the Initiative Board to represent part of the community. I do consider to be a representative of the "old game", since I've been around for a while, even if relatively unknown to most back then.
3. I'd like a stable game with many of its bugs
fixed and some new interface solutions. An
amalgam of the amazing game with the new possibilities technology now gives us.
4. Probably an increase on the players' "voice"
in transfers. If not sold, he would complain. or board intervene. Maybe some other formula, but market must be more dynamic. And the community too.
