Luis Costa of Bayern München
clinched sixth consecutive league gold and was beaten by VfL Bochum in the quarter finals of the DFB Cup.
Bochum went on and won the cup beating FC Nürnberg in the final.
The talent at disposal of Luis Costa is awesome, paired with killer tactics, the league has been one sided story. If anyone is going to dethrone Bayern München, it would take something spectacular.
Closest rivals Bochum and Nürnberg are still some way behind the champions.
number of wins vs number of finals, 1 / 2 means team won 1 final of played 2
And their performance in national team before the move
Inter had finished fifth last season
but this season they were in great shape and clinched the league gold. David Esteves took back the golden title he once held, back in 2003. Former Arsenal boss, Stephen Woodhead joined AC Milan, to finish second. Copa Italia saw Torino beat Inter 2-1 in the final.
Berhan Karagoez had left PSG for
Marseille and won the league and the French cup defeating Lens again.
PSG, with Danny Nordberg, finished second just a point behind the new champion. Lyon was third with four points less than PSG.
