" God , I ' m asking you right now for the nation of Moms ."
I was sitting at my paint-stained kitchen table which was crusted over with old play dough , spending time with God . I had just come across Psalm 2:8 : " Ask of Me , and I will give you the nations for your inheritance , and the ends of the earth for your possession " ( NKJV ).
That ' s all I needed . It was in His Word , and He watches over His Word to perform it ( Jeremiah 1:12 ). I didn ' t know how I was going to pay the bills piled up on the kitchen counter , much less how to build a global business . But I knew how to use faith . It was going to be faith or nothing .
--only one mom . After all my hard work and preparation , was it even worth it ?
That ' s when I got a serious reprimand from God . He quickly informed me , " If you can ' t do it for one , you ' ll never do it for a million ." Lesson learned !
I delivered that coaching session as if I were on stage in front of 80,000 people . Now , here I was at my kitchen table asking God for the nation of Moms . I knew He could see the map . He could see the moms all over the globe who felt hopeless , frustrated , and overwhelmed .
" God , give them to me !"
Years earlier , God had placed a dream in my heart to create a faith-based company where moms could grow spiritually as well as financially . Where they could be inspired and equipped for the best career on earth--motherhood .
Mom Mastery University was born and one by one , moms came in . But it was one of those moments when your heart is begging for a flood and all you see is a trickle . I ' ll never forget the day only one mom tuned in to my coaching . I winced in frustration when I saw the display board--
