Simon, a Black Belt Head Coach of The Art of Fighting Kickboxing Club Malta, together with his students represented Malta in the World Championships four times. 2006, 2011, 2012, 2013 winning medals at all. Simon Chetcuti said that he has trained his students with strict discipline for the last three months prior to each tournament.

The teams travel over on the Thursday and make weight that evening. The preliminary rounds take place on the Friday and Saturday all fighters may enter more than one weight class or fighting style to get as much fighting experience as possible and give them the best chance of becoming a World champion and amazingly made it to the finals of each section to be held on the Sundays. A great expirence for our local talent.

Professional Recognition

The Sport Kickboxing Federation is the governing body for Sport Kickboxing all over the World, with Branches in Europe, Canada, and the Middle East. The SKF sets the standards for tournaments, instructor certification, and judging and refereeing. The SKF was founded in 1995 by "Shihan" Farhad Dordar and Master Farid Dordar. As the Sport Kickboxing Federation is expanding globally our philosophy continues to be to provide a complete, effective and fun system allowing for instruction, management and competitive tournaments to be held under one organization, the SKF.

In August 2014, WKSF annoucned that Brendon Borg & Keith Azzopardi havr been categorized as Professional Athletes and have been invited to compete at the World & European Circuts. For further information on WKSF or about his classes call Simon on 79865157
