PRESIDENT ' S MESSAGE
A Wealth of Knowledge Within Our Membership
As we welcome the spring season, I was pleased to see the strong participation at our February and March dinner meetings. These gatherings highlighted one of the greatest strengths of our organization— our members’ collective expertise and willingness to share knowledge.
At our February meeting, Andy Balon, a seasoned professional with Bartlett Tree Experts, delivered a thought-provoking presentation on the power of combining personal experience with insights from industry trailblazers. His advice underscored how learning from one another can unlock new levels of professional growth and innovation.
In March, David Anderson, MCLP, MCA, of Mayer Tree Service, shared his 40 years of industry expertise with a practical, infopacked presentation about shrub and tree pruning. His guidance on using questions in the the Pruning Decision Process to enhance staff development and boost sales— especially in the slower winter months— was invaluable.
The depth of information shared by Andy and Dave was truly impressive, and I have no doubt that those in attendance left with actionable insights to enhance their work this season.
These are two examples of the tremendous knowledge base within our membership. If you have an area of expertise, a unique approach, or valuable lessons learned that could benefit fellow members, we’ d like to hear from you! Your insights could make a meaningful impact on our industry peers.
Let’ s continue to learn from one another and strengthen our professional community.
Chris Connors, MCLP President
