PRESIDENT ' S MESSAGE
As my term as MALP president comes to a close, I want to express my appreciation to our volunteer leaders and management team. Your hard work, dedication, and commitment keep our association strong, relevant, and forward-moving. It has been a privilege to serve alongside such committed professionals, and I look forward to finding new ways to stay involved and continue contributing in the years ahead.
I encourage every MALP member to take an active role: volunteer, speak up, and let us know how we can continue to add value to your membership. Together, we can learn from one another, build meaningful connections, and strengthen our industry. My ongoing mantra remains the same: get involved, do good work, and hold each other accountable. It’ s through shared responsibility and collaboration that we continue to elevate our profession.
As we transition from summer into fall – my favorite season – it’ s a great time to reflect on all we’ ve accomplished, make the necessary adjustments to finish the year safely and successfully, and express gratitude to those who make it possible. Thank your employees, thank your clients, and carry forward the lessons learned as you plan for the year ahead.
Chris Connors, MCLP President
