Successful Fall Field Day Brings Green Industry Together
More than 400 green industry professionals gathered on September 25 at the German Club in Walpole , MA , for the muchanticipated Fall Field Day . Despite a few showers and cloudy skies the event was a hit . The afternoon schedule featuring top-notch education , next level suppliers , live music , and a cookout , was wellreceived by attendees .
Members enjoyed the chance to explore cutting-edge equipment , discover the latest plant introductions , and learn about advancements in green industry technology .
Educational sessions were highly popular , receiving positive feedback from attendees . The outdoor program offered hands-on instruction in shrub pruning and chainsaw safety , while classroom sessions covered topics like the best new native plants for New England , using stone in landscaping , and updates on common pest and disease concerns .
Networking was a major focus , with landscape professionals engaging with vendors , forging new connections with colleagues , and enjoying live music by Kevin Cleveland ( president of MAA ) and the Cowpunks . Our own Carrie Martin added her own musical talent for a few songs !
